Sub: Frequent Accidents Casued by the Use of Mobile Phone

Sir,

Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to ventilate my deep concern about the frequent accidents caused by the use of mobile phones at the time of crossing roads or driving cars.

The number of road accidents have been increasing day by day. The big reason behind it is the careless use of mobile phones while crossing the roads or driving the cars. In the modern life, we can see that mobile phone is very important thing. But many people can be seen speaking or chatting in mobile phone while driving or crossing roads.

Even the teenagers risk their own life and take no notice of the running vehicles. They even take selfie on the railway tracks. The survey shows that nearly 30 percent of road accidents all over India is caused due to the careless use of mobile phones.

Though laws have been enforced banning the use of mobile phones at the time of crossing or driving, yet there is violation of the rules. A huge penalty must be levied against those who violate the traffic rules. Moreover, mobile trackers may be installed at different crossings to find out such mobiles on the move in the busy street.
