Fatal Outbreak of Coronavirus Report

New Delhi, 12th May,20: India, like a lot of countries has plunged into a serious medical emergency by the pandemic declared by W.H.O with the sudden outbreak of Coronavirus disease.  The deadly outbreak has claimed lives over 285000 people and infected nearly 30 lakhs  globally.  

     The Coronavirus is a family of viruses that can cause a range of illnesses in humans including common cold, fever, cough, respiratory disorders and more severe forms like SARS and MERS which are life-threatening.  The virus is named after its shape which takes the shape of crown with augmentation around it.

 

 

     The recent outbreak of Coronavirus is believed to have occurred in the Central China city of Wuhan.  Since it is a new strain, there is no specific medicine or vaccine has been discovered to treat it. India as well as all the countries has come under the system of lockdown.  However, it was too late. The virus has spread to all the continents except Antartica. India has expanded the process of testing and screening of the suspected and who are found with the virus have been isolated and treated. 

     Worries are mounting up as the death- tolls have been increasing day by day in India.  As the whole world has come under stand still, it may weaken the global economy or even cause recession as the experts predict.
