Sir,
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to ventilate my deep concern about the present condition of wildlife which is facing now a great threat of extinction.
Wildlife is an essential part of nature. The wild birds, animals, insects and reptiles help to maintain ecological balance in nature. But the global population of wildlife has been decreasing day by day. There are many factors that lead to the extinction of many species of birds and animals. One of the major causes for the declining of wildlife is ever increasing trends of urbanization with the increase of human population. As a result, the natural environment has been destroyed recklessly. Another major reason of declining of wildlife is the illegal act of poaching.
Today, the need of protecting wildlife has become very important to keep the balance in nature. The illegal activities like haunting, poaching and trading of animals should be banned. We need more projects and wildlife lovers should come forward to protect the wildlife. Though many countries have taken wildlife protection act and different projects but at the same time human consciousness should be raised to stop devastating consequences before we wake up from foolish stupor.
